10 Sensory activities ideas for 6 months to 2 years old

It is another simple but exciting activity for the kids under eight months to two years. All you need is a box and tapes of different colours. Your child will keep himself busy in removing these tapes from the boxes.
8. Ball shoebox
We all have a pile of shoeboxes lying aimlessly at our places. You can use them creatively. Make a hole on the lid of a box and give some balls to your kid. He will try to put the ball in the hole. This can get arranged for six months old to up to two years. They will equally enjoy this activity.

Remember how we used to fascinate with bubbles in our own childhood to use the same trick for your kids. To make a bubble solutions all you need is some soapy water and straw you can also use some colours to add beauty in your bubbles and let your kid enjoy. Sensory bags are very useful in developing a sense of touch in kids. The sensory bag can be prepared at home with pulses, beans, and peas. Ziplock bags are ideal for creative activities for kids.
