“All big discoveries and inventions started with a single question mark WHY?
We all have grown up by listening to this line that has buried in our heart Life Is a Race and you’re a runner. And from then we are the participants of this mob mentality, even some of the ancestors passed away running in this track LOL. It would be great if we could understand the mechanism behind how to know what you want to do in life?
A report by a global poll conducted by Gallup has estimated that, out of the world’s 1 billion full-time workers, only 15% of people are happy at work ( 85% of people are unhappy in their jobs).
Damn! This is shocking.
But the reason behind this is a one-liner, we have kidnapped ourselves. Let me clear this to you, so according to human psychology, we caged ourselves from the life we want because of our society and environment that have set an ideal path which is helping us to survive, get by, and pay our bills.
90% of the world is choosing this path which helps them to meet their basic needs but they aren’t happy with their lifestyle. Enough is Enough! If we will continue doing this, then what is the purpose behind this birth in the human body? For you, I have invested my hours doing the research and have come up with these 3 simple ways on how to know what you want to do in life?
#Step 1 – Doing a Self Audit
Encourage yourself to ask this Who you are and what you want from life? Listen to your inner voice.
- Ask yourself this weird question which is important “What do you know that you wish you didn’ know?” Deep down you know that you’re hiding the truth from yourself.
- It can be a fact that you want to QUIT YOUR JOB but you scared about WHAT NEXT?
- Or Maybe the relation or marriage you are in is not healthy but you get sacred about WHAT SOCIETY WILL THINK OF YOU? Kya Kahenge Log
- It can be Your drinking or smoking habit that you think is cool, but deep down you know while cheering you’re hurting your liver and your every puff is damaging your lungs.
In this every fact, you blindfold your heart and mind? Correct me if I’m Wrong?
But you know there is a simple logic behind correcting mistakes we are doing in our daily lives, your mind always sends you a signal that generates sensation like OKAY or NOT OKAY? From now if you get this signal, Quit that job (like I did) and choose a work which you really love to do, understand that your mental peace comes first whether you’re married or divorced Kuchh to log kahenge, logon ka kaam hai Kehna, or throw that last cigarette right Now!
#Step 2 – List Down All The Things That Give You Motivation
Very interesting research says that the gut is your second brain where 200 Million neurons exist, I am talking about our nervous system which constantly gives us feedback through generating feelings about what you’re thinking. These sensations are like-
Expansion or Contraction
Joy or Fear
Excitement or Fread
Liberation or Suffocation
You want to know how this helps us to figure out what we actually want from life? So this time list down all your ideas and check with how the body responds towards your choice.

Write down one moment that lit you up every single day. Pay attention! Is there any pattern in your inspiration? What skillset you’re using when you are most inspired. And when you feel inspiring no doubt your gut makes you feel liberated. Brilliant Way Right?
#Step 3 – Engagement
Success is not a spoon-feeding syrup. A lot of Sweat, effort, years are needed to understand how to know what you want to do in life and accomplish the same.
Clarity comes from engagement but not only from thoughts. Look at your list and pick something up! See what feedback the Universe gives to you! Show up the commitment. Once again Don’t give up your power so easily to fear. Don’t trap yourself in limitation. You deserve abundance and you have supreme power to break the glass ceiling.
